Sisan Family Resort

You get what you pay for. It is expensive but the place is well managed and really nice. The rooms are really well laid out. Very clean with great utilities. The breakfast is ok, a few more options would be nice, something like melon or other chopped fruit for example. The pool is really rather fun though very busy and crowded as it is shared with the much larger campsite next door. The staff are all really very friendly which really helps with the holiday experience. It is a short walk to the lake front and you have to cross a busy road but that is not too bad. The location is great as you are close to some really nice places on Lake Garda. It is really very good that inside the resort there are no cars allowed, this means the kids can roam about trouble free.

Lovely family resort located in Cisano. Rooms are clean and modern, two bed apartment provided plenty of space. The larger pool with slides was extremely busy as shared with campsite, better to use the smaller pool which was for the resort only. Great access to the lake, 5 minute walk south to rent pedalos and paddle boards etc. Cisano has a few nice restaurants on the lakefront but you’ll want to use the local bus service to go to neighbouring towns (both Bardolino and Lazise are lovely) for more variety. Food at resort was ok, limited options for gluten free guests though.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sisan Family Resort in Cisano, Italy, with my family of four, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the fantastic pool area. With a family in tow, we were thrilled to find the pools well-maintained and enjoyable for both adults and kids. The variety of pools ensured that everyone had a great time, whether it was relaxing in the sun or splashing around. The apartment-style accommodation was another plus point. It provided us with the comfort and space we needed for our family, and having a kitchenette was convenient for preparing simple meals when we didn't feel like dining out. We visited in late August and it was a busy time. It's worth noting that this is the peak holiday season in Italy, especially around Lake Garda. So, anyone planning a trip during this period should be prepared for crowds. However, the staff at Sisan Family Resort handled the bustling atmosphere excellently, and their service remained top-notch. One of our favorite moments of the day was the breakfast buffet. It was a delightful way to start our mornings with a variety of options to choose from. In summary, our stay at Sisan Family Resort was a memorable one. We thoroughly enjoyed the amenities, the apartment-style accommodation, and the service provided by the friendly staff. Just remember to plan accordingly if you're visiting during peak tourist season. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this resort for a family getaway in beautiful Cisano, Italy.

We were a little disappointed with Sisan Family resort. It was clean, and the location wasn’t bad but apart from that if we had our time again we would have stayed elsewhere. It felt like it wasn’t really a hotel and wasn’t really an apartment. The kitchen wasn’t equipped for a family, no oven or dishwasher and not even a tea towel or a cupboard to store dry goods. And room service wasn’t available. So we felt at a loss for dinner options and ended up eating at restaurants most nights which was expensive or going for a picnic which was lovely but a lot more effort with two kids. We had no view or outlook which was probably the biggest downfall, sitting in our small courtyard outside we were looking at a concrete wall, it didn’t feel like we were in Italy. So we didn’t even really want to have our family meals in the outdoor space even if the kitchen was adequate. No washing machine either (required a walk to camping site with coin operated machines). Not something you would expect at a four star resort. Our room was also a fair walk from the breakfast room and the parking lot, so to get out for the day with a family was a real effort. Simple things like forgetting things in the car was a pain. Ultimately I think it comes down to how you like to holiday and might be good accommodation for some families visiting this region, but just didn’t suit our needs and probably created more work for us than we expected.

Pool is accessible from all the camping grounds nearby, the hotel across the street and thus far from being exclusive for the resort guests. It looked like even people from the neighborhood walked in. It is completely overcrowded. In this resort we had the worst ever breakfast experience. We really had to wait for half an hour in a very long queue to get some coffee, prebaked rolls, thin orange juice and other very cheapish stuff at a counter. Really disgusting. If you want to have another cup of coffee, get back into the line. They don't even had enough dinner trays for all the guests. I mean the family appartement we booked was well equipped and clean and the place has potential, but we surely won't be back.
